Mike Lander, Group Chairman & CEO and Executive Director, Piscari

Mike is an experienced, board level procurement/sourcing executive focused on delivering cost reduction and working capital improvement programs; he has recently delivered cashable savings in excess of £1m pa for clients. Category expertise includes contingent/permanent workforce agency supply chains, HR services including learning and development, strategic partnerships, IT services, travel and insurance/professional services.

Mike is also an accomplished Chairman/CEO; he built one of his companies from £10m to £20m revenue with strong EBITDA within 2 years. He has a unique breadth of experience that includes supplier/partner negotiations, new business start-ups, fund raising, cost reduction, procurement, restructuring and turnaround programs. Mike has an MBA from Cranfield University and an Honours degree in Electronics from Sheffield University.

John Sands – Non Executive Director

John was former Executive Chairman of a British retail and leisure business which was sold in 2003 for £1.2 billion. He has 28 years experience within the leisure and retailing industry at a senior level and also has extensive human resources and people management experience. John is currently Chair and non-executive director of Invesco English and International Investment Trust PLC and Wear Inns Ltd, and a non-executive director for Community Foundation and Delphi Partnership.
